Banco De Gaia (a.k.a. Toby Marks) was one of the first to introduce Eastern and Arabic music themes into ambient dub.
The Big Men Cry album was one of my first introductions to ambient dub music in the mid 90's and it was instrumental in my "conversion" to the chillout genre as a DJ.
The title track from the album is now offered as one of a few free downloads on Banco's website: www.banco.co.uk. This track is also one of my favorite tracks as a mountain chill DJ, though it was probably inspired by the imagery of the Himalayas, I am reminded of the mountains here in southwest Colorado.
