Enjoying the View

To help put some of our "Mountain Chill" programming in context, please enjoy this panoramic photo of the area surrounding our studios in Ouray, CO.

We waited until most of the tourists were gone for the season to 4WD over Imogene Pass (el. 3997 m./13,114 ft.). This pass is the "short cut" route between Ouray and Telluride, CO. This is the highest pass in the San Juans. My friend Ed did the driving in his jeep. We sat for about an hour at the pass and had a bit of a picnic. This time I brought the Nikon DSLR and knitted together this nice panorama of the view. Look carefully and you'll see us enjoying the view.
